Who we are
This website is operated by Rua Construction and Projects (Pty) Ltd (“Rua-Con”, “we”, “us”). We respect your privacy and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you submit a collection request or general enquiry, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- your name, contact number, email address, preferred contact method and company name;
- the collection address, property type and location notes;
- details of the waste or items to be collected, preferred dates and instructions; and
- any photographs you choose to upload.
Why we use it
We use this information only to review your request or enquiry, contact you about it, assess the collection requirements and confirm availability, pricing and arrangements with you. We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it
Collection requests (including any photographs you upload) and general enquiries are captured through our website host, Netlify, and delivered to our team by email. These service providers process the information on our behalf to deliver it to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as it is needed to deal with your request and to meet our legal and operational obligations.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its processing. To make a request, email info@ruacon.co.za or call 010 595 4743. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
